Rebecca Mooney, WHNP
Rebecca grew up just outside Baton Rouge in rural Louisiana before moving to Nashville in 1999 to attend Belmont University. She quickly fell in love with the beauty and charm of Middle Tennessee, and she’s called it home ever since.
Rebecca earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Belmont in 2000 and spent the next seven years gaining hands-on experience in pediatrics and women’s health as a registered nurse. Her passion for caring for women across the lifespan led her to pursue graduate studies at Vanderbilt University, where she became a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She later completed a post-master’s program in Adult Health, rounding out her expertise in adult and women’s health care.
She values taking time with each patient, building trust through attentive listening and a collaborative approach to care. Rebecca enjoys supporting patients through all stages of life—from adolescence through menopause—with warmth, empathy, and evidence-based guidance.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll find Rebecca enjoying life with her husband, their three boys, and their beloved goldendoodle, LuLu Lemon. She loves kayaking, cheering on her favorite teams in golf, football, and soccer, diving into creative arts (especially music), and spending time with family and friends.
