Chibbi Iwelu, MD

Dr. Chibbi Iwelu joined Women Obstetrics & Gynecology in July 2020. 

Dr. Iwelu is originally from Huntsville, Alabama and first came to Nashville after failing out of astronaut school (yes, that’s a thing). She came to Vanderbilt University for her undergraduate degree, the University of Tennessee for medical school, and back to Nashville for her residency. She, her husband, a die-hard Georgia fan, and her daughter live in blissful harmony except for one Saturday every fall. Dr. Iwelu enjoys reading in her spare time and buying and promptly killing succulents. Hope springs eternal, no?
